Pravah is an organization working with the vision of creating Change makers, as we believe that young people have the potential to create a positive difference in society.
Keeping this larger vision in mind Pravah in partnership with British Council and Voluntary Service Overseas (VSO) is organizing the Global Xchange program. The program is a 6 month long volunteers exchange program for young people from diverse backgrounds aged 18-25 years.
The program will give 18 young people from India and United Kingdom (9 from each country) a unique opportunity to work together, to develop and share their valuable skills and to make practical contribution where it is needed in local communities both in India and in United Kingdom. The duration of the exchange would be 6 months from November 2005 to April - May 2006.
The program is all about learning about self and society through experience, building confidence, discovering strengths, exploring a different culture and stretching oneself.
We would like to invite you to nominate at least one person to go through the selection process for this program.
We would also appreciate it if you could share this information with any other individuals or organizations that may be interested in participating in the program.
