Presentation Guidelines
Following are guidelines for a presentation. Please do provide the following information ahead of time.
- Please provide the title of the presentation and a description (50-100 words). This is absolutely essential since we would like to include this in the conference brochure and on our website along with the conference agenda. This is due by September 30, 2008. We also request you to send us your presentation materials closer to the conference date, so these can be included on our website as well for the benefit of participants.
- Suggested duration of presentation is 40 mins (20 mins presentation material+ 10 mins Q/A + 10 mins for translations). Please ensure that you allocate time required for translations. If you need extra time let us know so we can accommodate your request. Please rehearse your presentation to ensure that it fits within the requested time slot.
- You can present concept papers, organization profiles detailing your experiments with education and relevant experiences, philosophies on education, methodologies, pedagogical ideas, educational policies and challenges you are facing (which you would like input on). The conference has many attendees interested in meaningful education from varied backgrounds. You are welcome to use your presentation time for dialog/brain storming purposes as well. We strive to provide a respectful environment for diverse view points.
- While we encourage you to present again and use this opportunity to take your work to a new region in India, please keep in mind that priority will be given to new topics and people who have not had a chance to present before. There is plenty of space and room for informal discussions in the evenings and you can avail these at the conference.
- If you want to send an article related to your presentation for Revive, please check Revive guidelines.
- We will provide an LCD projector and computer, board and writing materials for presentations. If you have other requests, please let us know ahead of time.
